The Mizzou basketball team is coming to Kansas City this week for the Hall of Fame Classic at the Sprint Center. Awaiting the Tigers are a trio of undefeated teams, and the Tigers will play two of them, win or lose.
Mizzou (4-1) first gets Butler (5-0). The other side of the bracket features Stanford (6-0) against Oklahoma (5-0). That’s a combined 20-1 record between the four teams, with the lone loss handed to Mizzou by No. 18-ranked Xavier in overtime.
Butler, Oklahoma and Mizzou all are receiving votes in the Associated Press Top 25. Stanford sits behind those teams without any votes, and the Cardinal also are farther back in the KenPom rankings.
