The Mizzou basketball team comes back home tonight, and again, the Tigers will play an NCAA Tournament team. This is the second time already this season that Tigers will match up against a team that went to March Madness last season, while Mizzou also played a top-25 team in Xavier, which barely missed out on the tournament in 2018-19.
Mizzou basketball beat Northern Kentucky 71-56 in its second game of the season. A strong schedule early on is giving Mizzou basketball a solid resume down the road. For now, Mizzou needs all the wins and experience it can get.
