Mizzou Baseball allowed two runs in the ninth inning of a tied game Sunday, losing to Georgia 4-2. The Tigers have lost 11 consecutive games, setting a new program record.

“We’re an immature club, and I don’t mean that by them as individuals, but I mean by them as baseball players,” head coach Kerrick Jackson said,” and so we have to continue to grow and develop and mature as a baseball team.”

Mizzou jumped out to an early lead for the second straight game, putting a run on the board in the bottom of the second.

Mateo Serna hit a leadoff single through the right side, advancing to second on a sacrifice bunt by Keegan Knutson.
