Kelly Bryant showed no signs of a sprained knee in MU’s win last week over Mississippi and figures to have another prolific day against a woeful Vanderbilt defense. The Commodores start three redshirt freshmen in the secondary and have allowed four teams to complete at least 65 percent of their passes. Vandy has been especially vulnerable against the pass on first down, surrendering 13 passes of 25 yards in that situation. Bryant quietly is putting together an efficient season with a passer rating of 156.1. Only two quarterbacks in team history have posted better ratings for a single season, Drew Lock in 2017 and Chase Daniel in 2008.
