Former Appalachian State defensive end Nate Johnson committed to the Tigers after two seasons with the Mountaineers.
A South Carolina native, Johnson wlll jump up to the SEC after posting 2.5 sacks and a fumble recovery this year at App State. In 2023, his freshman season, he stormed onto the collegiate scene with 7.5 sacks — the most of any true freshman in the country that season.
