FCS week is a challenging week to get up for. On one hand, you know you’re gonna win. On the other hand if you don’t win big and going away, then the day is a failure. Mizzou is clearly a flawed football team, but an opponent like SEMO can prove to be either an elixir or like Missouri State a few years back... a harbinger of a much tougher season. Then again Mizzou beat Delaware State 79-0 in a 4-8 season.
I’m not saying we’re heading toward that kind of a tough season, but you certainly don’t want to be seen messing around with an FCS opponent, and hopefully the backups get a lot of snaps!
