With an expanded playoff, there’s this feeling I have of the near forgotten Bowl season.
11 bowls have already been played, and that’s not counting the first round of the CFP. There are three more bowls today, five more tomorrow, eight more on Saturday, all before we get to Mizzou versus Iowa on Monday.
What’s interesting about Mizzou-Iowa is that the Tigers have played Iowa’s biggest rival, Iowa State, more than Iowa has. Yes Mizzou vs Iowa State has happened 103 time over the years, whereas Iowa-Iowa State have only played 68 times. Mizzou and Iowa on the other hand have only played each other 13 times, and just once since 1911.
