Schweizer, the cross country national champion, finished second in the 1,500-meter run and first in the 5,000-meter run, to secure her place at the NCAA West Region Prelims. Her times were 4:19.98 and 15:58.14, respectively. Teammate Jordyn Cleve finished 21st in the 5,000-meter run.
Megan Cunningham finished first in the 10,000-meter run, with a time of 33:47.05. Gabi Jacobs finished seventh in the shot put, with a throw of 15.75 meters, and won the discus throw with 55.92 meters. Rebecca Keating finished fourth in the hammer throw, with 60.55 meters.
A pair of Tigers scored in the women’s high jump; junior Valeria Kostiuk finished sixth, for three points and junior Karissa Roman finished eighth, for one point.
