The Missouri Tigers on Thursday dismissed junior quarterback Maty Mauk from the football team for "violating team rules," coach Barry Odom announced Thursday.
Mauk had been suspended indefinitely while the school investigated a video posted on social media that shows a person appearing to snort a white, powdery substance. An accompanying tweet mentioned Mauk by name, but there was no confirmation from Missouri that the video was of him.
"I met with Maty Mauk this morning and informed him of my decision to permanently dismiss him from the football program," Odom said in a statement Thursday.
