On MU Athletics’ Twitter, Mitch Weber claimed Mizzou is “The Best Disc Team in the Country.” While NCAA Nationals will determine Weber’s “best in the country” claim, this weekend, Mizzou proved it dominates men’s discus in the SEC. Mizzou tied LSU for the most entries with four throwers. All four Mizzou throwers scored points by finishing within the top seven, compared to LSU, whose throwers finished first, eighth, 13th and 16th. That’s two sports where Missouri Tigers defeated Louisiana Tigers this weekend, but who’s counting?
