COLUMBIA, Mo. — As we begin the week saying farewell to one college basketball season, let’s start looking ahead to the next one to tip off some Monday Mizzou musings.
1. Like so many teams across the country, Cuonzo Martin’s projected basketball roster in 2021-22 will barely resemble the team he had on the floor this year. After a mass exodus to the transfer portal, replacement parts have quickly fallen into place. As of Monday, Mizzou has 11 of 13 scholarships accounted for in 2021-22. Eight of those 11 will be newcomers: five freshmen and three transfers.
