Matter on Mizzou: Don't count out Jordan Geist

COLUMBIA, MO. • It's a football weekend at Mizzou with the Black and Gold spring game kicking off at 3 p.m. Saturday, but we start our weekly glance at all things Mizzou on the hardwood.

Now that he’s officially a former college basketball player, Missouri’s Jordan Geist can cash in on a professional career. He’s already started. As part of Team SEC in last weekend’s 3 on 3 national tournament in Minneapolis, Geist guided his conference’s team of fellow seniors to three victories before coming up short in the quarterfinals. The team earned $3,000, split four ways among Geist, Georgia's Derek Ogbeide, South Carolina's Hassani Gravett and Texas A&M's Christian Mekowulu.
