Looking ahead: Kentucky at Mizzou

Just in time for Halloween season, Kentucky has crawled out of an 0-2 grave to haunt the rest of its October schedule. The Wildcats (2-2) head to Missouri on Saturday a week ahead of their originally scheduled visit — the SEC moved the game to give Florida another week to recover from its COVID-19 outbreak — and will arrive on a two-game winning streak, both defensive masterpieces against Mississippi State and Tennessee. In those wins, Kentucky outscored the Bulldogs and Volunteers by a combined 58-9 and scored more defensive touchdowns (three) than allowed offensive touchdowns (one). Saturday’s 34-7 victory at Tennessee was Kentucky’s first win in Knoxville, Tennessee since 1984 and also marked UK’s largest margin of victory over a nationally ranked team on the road in program history.
