Legendary Mizzou coach Gary Pinkel, former AD Mack Rhoades join CFP selection committee

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Two familiar faces from University of Missouri circles have joined the College Football Playoff Selection Committee.

Gary Pinkel, the Hall of Fame coach who has the most wins in Mizzou football history, has joined the selection committee for a three-year term.

Also joining the group is former MU athletics director Mack Rhoades, who now holds that post at Baylor. He spent only a year and change in Columbia before moving to the Texas school.

Pinkel and Rhoades are two of six new appointees to the selection committee, which produces its own Top 25 rankings and programs the College Football Playoff.
