Lawyer breaks silence on Georgia's groundbreaking lawsuit against Mizzou star

Missouri edge rusher Damon Wilson II is being sued by the University of Georgia over an unpaid buyout clause in his NIL contract. They are seeking $390,000 as a penalty for departing for the Tigers ahead of the 2025 season.

Now, Wilson's lawyer, Bogdan Susan, offered his first statement on the case to PowerMizzou on Friday.

"After all the facts come out, people will be shocked at how the University of Georgia treated a student-athlete," said Susan. "It has never been about the money for Damon, he just wants to play the game he loves and pursue his dream of playing in the NFL.
