Listen, I know Mizzou lost Drew Lock and the Tigers aren’t going to be confused with a consistent eight win program — but, my word. This team returns a ton of talent! Kelly Bryant might not be an All-American caliber quarterback, but plenty of Top 25 teams wish he was behind center for them in 2019. A low line for me would be 7.5; 8.5, honestly, seems pretty realistic. That’s a tough decision for bettors to make, as Missouri is in position to be at least a 9-win team this season.
So, while I cannot condone gambling and nothing I say should be taken as a guarantee for success, this seems like a safe bet — and I can’t see this staying at 6.
