At Mizzou, there are athletes from 37 states and 14 countries. Hao Jin, a volleyball player, traveled over 7,000 miles to come to the school from China. In contrast, 29 Tigers stayed in town, coming from Columbia, Missouri.
With 498 athletes on campus, roughly 2 percent of Mizzou’s student body competes in a varsity athletics program. The Maneater created a map of where every athlete in the school is from.
