COLUMBIA, Mo. — You know that iconic call and response from Remember the Titans? It’s part of the misty-eyed end and has become a catchy football refrain: “Left side, strong side.”
Regardless of whichever half of the offensive formation has more personnel when Missouri football assembles itself over the course of the 2023 season, the Tigers’ offensive line will have two very different segments.
On the left side, there will be stability in the form of two graduate linemen who have been with Mizzou since 2018. Left tackle Javon Foster is a team captain and preseason second team All-SEC pick who’s started 26 games the last two seasons.
