Sunday afternoon, Missouri defensive lineman Harold Brantley of the football team and guard Maddie Stock of the women's basketball team were injured in a car crash on US-63.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brantley, the driver, slid off the right side of the highway, struck a guardrail, and overturned. Neither athlete was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
