If it wasn’t a rivalry before, it certainly is now!
On the eve of Early Signing Day, Eli Drinkwitz, Jacob Peeler, and Co. have pulled of a coup, swooping into the state of Arkansas and plucking arguably its best player out of the hands of the Razorbacks. Blue-chip receiver Courtney Crutchfield, a one-time Arkansas Razorback commit, will don the black and gold in college.
Crutchfield was committed to Sam Pittman’s class until early November, when a decommitment was followed swiftly by prognostications of a Mizzou flip. It’s been a long month and a half since, with many rumors of NIL negotiations and dueling offers, but the good guys won out in the end.
