COLUMBIA, Mo. — When Barry Odom comes to town this weekend to face the team that fired him, his former Mizzou players will watch with fond memories on their minds and conflicted feelings in their guts.
Odom was beloved by players during his head coaching tenure at Missouri. That’s what makes it so weird for them to see him wearing Arkansas red as the Hogs’ defensive coordinator. He spent 2016-19 trying to stoke the Battle Line rivalry from the Missouri side.
“I can love him before and after the game,” former receiver J’Mon Moore said. “Just not during the game, because he’s over there with those losers.
