Eli Drinkwitz adds a former assistant coach of the year in latest hire

Eli Drinkwitz and Mizzou have added another offensive coach to their staff. After a three-year stint at Clemson, a coach who goes way back with Drinkwitz is about to be reunited.

According to On3, Missouri is hiring former Clemson offensive coordinator Garrett Riley. Riley has spent time with Clemson, TCU, SMU over the last six years, and overlapped with Drinkwitz for one season at Appalachian State in 2019. While Riley's role hasn't officially been announced, it's likely he'll work with the quarterbacks in some capacity.
