COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri coach Eliah Drinkwitz hasn’t gone as far to call his quarterback situation a rotation, but a season unlike any other could produce a strategy unlike anything from his past.

After starting Saturday’s game against Alabama with Shawn Robinson at quarterback, Drinkwitz turned to Connor Bazelak to play the first series of the second quarter — then went back to Robinson until the Tigers' final possession, when Bazelak ran in a touchdown on the final play from scrimmage.
