Clutch offense on 3rd and 4th downs boosts Mizzou in win over Kansas

COLUMBIA, Mo. — There was a lot of good to Beau Pribula’s first game as Missouri’s now-unchallenged starting quarterback.

Thirty completions on 39 attempts, good for a career-high 334 yards and three touchdowns. He didn’t run as much as he could’ve or will in other games — and did fumble on one carry — but looked like the dual-threat playmaker he’s supposed to be.

Ask Tigers coach Eli Drinkwitz for his assessment of the Penn State transfer, and he’ll give you the requisite balance of someone who sees room for improvement in Mizzou’s 42-31 Border War win over Kansas.
