With COVID-19 throwing wrenches into all kinds of scheduling plans, College Basketball teams have had to be as flexible as possible when it comes to finding an opponent that is COVID-free and available.
Without anyone on Mizzou’s confirmed schedule until Sunday thanks to multiple teams bowing out of a “Bubbleville” Multiple Team Event in Connecticut, Mizzou scrambled to find a matchup against the Oregon Ducks.
The Ducks have yet to play a game after having their season opener against Eastern Washington postponed due to the Eagles not having enough available players. It was rumored Missouri and Oregon would meet up in the previously mentioned “Bubbleville” event, also involving Boston College.
