Former Columbia Daily Tribune beat reporter Ross Dellenger dropped a big article earlier this week that details the behind-the-scenes maneuverings of power brokers in and outside the world of college football.
You’ll have to read the article, but the gist is that government officials in the state of Tennessee have moved forward legislation to exempt the state schools from NIL regulations. But now, the Power 4 conference commissioners are reportedly working up a counter tactic that will bind all schools to comply. And if they don’t sign the agreement, they’re out of the conference.
