All in a day's work for Mizzou basketball

COLUMBIA, MO. • “Punch it, J.P.”

Kim Anderson lets John Poettgen know it’s time to hit the road.

For the next few minutes, Poettgen is behind the wheel of a golf cart transporting Anderson and a guest up and down hills, around turns and across the Providence Road pedestrian bridge that connects Memorial Stadium to the Mizzou Athletics Training Complex, site of the day’s first order of business for the Missouri men’s basketball team.

Anderson walks in the building at 8 a.m. sharp just as his players and assistant coaches begin to arrive for breakfast.
