Mizzou Football Recruiting: Tigers Make Four-Star Cornerback's Final Eight

Rising Memphis (TN) cornerback Donte Vaughn announced his top eight college choices via Twitter on Sunday, and the four-star 2016 prospect showed some love for the Missouri Tigers with their inclusion.

The 6-foot-3, 192-pound standout listed Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Auburn, Missouri and Mississippi State as the favorites for his signature, making sure to add that the schools were listed in no particular order.

"(I'm) still open to all schools that haven't offered but for now this is my Top 8," he wrote.

Listed as the #27 cornerback in the nation and #7 prospect out of the state of Tennessee by 247Sports' Composite Rankings, Vaughn is currently said to be a solid lean towards the Vols.

However, considering how early we are in the recruitment process, there's plenty of time for Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel and the Tigers coaching staff to strengthen their chances of picking up Vaughn's pledge.
