Back to the Missouri State Bears Newsfeed

Yeah, last year's Missouri State baseball team was good. This year's team has to live up to the hype.

The images surrounding the Missouri State baseball program are fresh and vivid. And daunting.

Hosting an NCAA Tournament regional at Hammons Field before sold-out crowds. Defeating Iowa in a winner-take-all regional championship. Sending a flood of fans to the Fayetteville Super Regional, where the Bears missed the College World Series by one run.

Bears coach Keith Guttin has no use for those images these days.

“We haven’t talked about it once,” Guttin said Wednesday at the Bill Rowe Training Facility at Hammons Field, where the Bears were preparing to open the 2016 season on Friday at Central Arkansas.
