It’s been over two decades since Marshfield has won a conference title but there is a lot of excitement surrounding the Blue Jays with its young core leading the way.
Marshfield lost its season opener to Seneca but has responded by winning its next two games, including a 41-7 victory over Springfield Catholic (0-3) on Friday night.
“I think we have responded really well since the opening loss,” Marshfield head coach Cody Bull said. “We have had guys nicked up and we have had a bunch of guys step up into spots they’re not used to and do very well.
