With some leagues moving to conference-only seasons, Missouri State could be in trouble

The fallout of the coronavirus pandemic continues to deliver devastating blows on the athletics world and more came Thursday afternoon.

The Big Ten announced it would move to a conference-only schedule for the fall across all sports that are able. That includes football and reports suggest the ACC and PAC 12 are close to making a similar move.

Those moves have already impacted schools across the Missouri Valley Football Conference who have games scheduled against teams in those conferences. Teams like Northern Iowa and Illinois State were scheduled to play against Big Ten opponents for big paydays, and those don't appear to be happening anymore.
