With one game on schedule, Bobby Petrino says Missouri State football is playoff-worthy

Asked if Missouri State is a playoff team, Bobby Petrino says there is "no question about it."

The first-year Bears' head coach has his team in a position to pull off what some thought was impossible — create a winning program at Missouri State that could one day return to the postseason for the first time since 1990.

After beating No. 10 Southern Illinois on Saturday, Petrino thinks the Bears have a lot more football left in them.

"You look at the teams we've played and where they're ranked," Petrino said. "I take the fall (in which the Bears went 0-3) and erase it.
