What’s more fun than a mascot?
Eight mascots, all together in the same stadium.
Springfield Cardinals mascots Louie and Fetch invited their friends to join them at the 2016 Texas League All-Star Game Tuesday, June 28 at Hammons Field. Mascots from seven other Texas League teams were invited to attend.
In a game that features the league’s best players, a pregame home run derby, a commemorative coin giveaway, $1 hot dogs and postgame fireworks, the gathering of the mascots appears lost on paper. However, when the larger than life characters invade Hammons Field, fans young and old are sure to be entertained.
