Another group of possible future NBA stars is set to take the JQH Arena floor this weekend during the annual Bass Pro Tournament of Champions.
Since the tournament’s birth in 1985, a total of 56 players have gone on to the NBA.
John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Ben Simmons, Jayson Tatum and Bradley Beal are among the NBA players who have come through Springfield in previous tournaments.
Some athletes have gone on to make international headlines.
It was just three years ago when Chino Hills guard Lonzo Ball made his appearance at the Tournament of Champions.
