Missouri State doled out a lot of money with its recent contract extensions for head coaches including Bobby Petrino, Amaka Agugua-Hamilton and Dana Ford.
Petrino, the head coach of the football team, and Aguguga-Hamilton, the women's basketball head coach, were both given raises following championship seasons that make them among the highest-paid coaches in the Missouri Valley Football and Missouri Valley conferences.
According to available data, Agugua-Hamilton is likely the highest-paid coach in the MVC following the departure of Drake head coach Jennie Baranczyk to Oklahoma.
Petrino is now the third highest-paid coach behind Northern Iowa longtime head coach Mark Farley and North Dakota State national championship-winning head coach Matt Entz.
