Aminu Mohammed's commitment to Georgetown is a big deal for the Hoyas.
Mohammed became the first five-star recruit to commit to Georgetown since 2014, and he's the first five-star pledge to commit to Patrick Ewing — who took over in Washington, D.C. in 2017.
Since ESPN's recruiting database started in 2007, the Greenwood senior is the third-highest-ranked prospect to commit to Georgetown. Isaac Copeland was ranked No. 16 in 2014 and Austin Freeman was ranked seventh in 2007.
