Near the end of Saturday morning's Missouri State men's basketball alumni game at Hammons Student Center, William Fontleroy was given the ball and an open lane.
Every Bears fan in the gym who knew anything about the history of the program started cheering. They wanted another classic dunk.
The legend laughed. One of his teammates got down on all fours to set up a launchpad for one of the greatest players in Missouri State history.
Fontleroy passed the ball.
"If I did a dunk today, then they wouldn't come back next time," Fontleroy laughed.
