Kaemyn Bekemeier already has a list of things she needs to improve on before she joins the Missouri State Lady Bears in the fall of 2023.
First, she wants to become a lockdown defender. She'll match up with the opposing team's best player and do everything she can to slow them down. Bekemeier has seen what's required from an Amaka Agugua-Hamilton-coached defense and she wants to get to that level.
Second, she wants to be more consistent from the 3-point line. It was a focus over the summer with her Missouri Phenom EYBL team as she played alongside and against some of the top recruits in the nation.
