El Dorado Springs and West Plains displayed why they were both 8-1 coming into Tuesday night’s Pink Division quarterfinal.
They did so, though, in a tale of two halves.
The Bulldogs were on fire at the start, aggressively playing on both sides of the court, and obviously frustrating the Zizzers.
But, the story swung heavily into West Plains’ favor in the second half.
The Zizzers grabbed momentum after halftime and never let it go in taking a 57-35 victory in their quarterfinal in the Pink & White Tournament at O’Reilly Family Events Center.
El Dorado Springs stormed to a 13-2 lead – thanks to a trio of treys from Macie Mays – and kept frustrating West Plains defensively throughout most of the first half.
