Walk-off home run lifts Missouri State past Oklahoma State in NCAA Tourney

Missouri State shortstop Jeremy Eierman hit a walk-off home run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Bears to a 6-5 victory over Oklahoma State on Friday in the opening game of the NCAA Tournament regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The Bears (41-17) will play in the winners bracket of the regional on Saturday at 7 p.m. against either Oral Roberts or Arkansas.

The Bears were one out away from ending the game in the top of the ninth inning when junior Garrett Benge hit an RBI triple off MSU closer Bryan Young to tie the game.
