It's time to vote for who readers thought had the best high school football season in southwest Missouri in 2021.
The fourth-annual vote will allow readers to fight it out as we recognize some of the best players to take the field this past season. Previous winners include Buffalo's Jamen Smith, Joplin's Isaiah Davis and Marionville's Wil Carlton.
A new winner will be crowned this year in a contest that has typically received tens of thousands of votes. You will be allowed to vote as often as you please through Wednesday at 10 a.m.
The News-Leader reserves the right to remove votes if it notices any cheating.
