Lady Bears head coach Kelly Harper addresses fans at Twilight Tipoff on Friday, Oct. 19. The event is an opportunity for fans to get to know faces of the MSU basektball teams.
“We have a team rule that we can’t wear other gear other than Missouri State gear,” Harper said. “But I’m going to break the rule today, and I think it’s appropriate.”
Harper chose to support her alma mater Tuesday in remembrance of Pat Summitt, her head coach from her days playing days at Tennessee, who died early Tuesday morning at the age of 64 after a five-year battle with early onset dementia in the form of Alzheimer’s.
