Missouri State’s football program added some size and athleticism to its passing game with a pair of commitments in a 24-hour period earlier this week.
The Bears have only about nine scholarships available to give out for the 2017 signing class, depending on academic money that incoming student-athletes may qualify for, and two of the scholarships have gone to wide receivers.
First came the commitment of Isaiah Allred, a 6-foot-3, 205-pounder from Van, Texas, on Tuesday. A day later, Tyler Currie from Cordova, Tennessee, by way of Butler Community College in Kansas, followed with his commitment to the Bears.
