RIDGEDALE — Johnny Morris looked at a limited crowd of VIPs along with media and smiled on an overcast day in the Ozark Mountains.
"When I got up this morning, I said that I didn't care if it was raining, the sun was still going to be shining," the Bass Pro Shops founder said. "It's just a happy, beautiful day."
Sitting in front of the crowd was Tiger Woods. Tuesday was the day many in southwest Missouri have been waiting for with the grand opening of the Payne's Valley Golf Course — the first public golf course designed by the legendary golfer.
