Six members of the Springfield Cardinals have been named to the 2016 Texas League All-Star Game, and three of them are scheduled to start.
Hammons Field hosts the game on Tuesday, June 28. The Double-A Texas League announced the rosters for the North Division and South Division teams on Tuesday afternoon.
Catcher Carson Kelly, center fielder Harrison Bader and first baseman and former Missouri State Bear Luke Voit have been named starters for the North. Additionally, second baseman Bruce Caldwell and third baseman Paul DeJong have been named all-stars.
Right-handed pitcher Mike Mayers was also played on the North Division roster but is not expected to play in the game due to his call-up to Triple-A Memphis.
