Through the first two games of the regular season, the Lady Bears are showing signs of what made them special a year ago.
Whether it's the deep roster, effort inside the paint or the star-power who can score in a hurry — the feeling around the Lady Bears just two games in is all too familiar.
Missouri State is trying to move on from the greatness of last season's Sweet 16 run but the players know something is still there.
"I think, definitely, this team is special and we have a lot of depth again," senior Alexa Willard said.
