Missouri State announced Monday morning that longtime volleyball coach Melissa Stokes resigned after an investigation into the program.
The announcement came after an independent investigation by Spencer Fane LLP found that NCAA violations occurred within the volleyball program.
MSU Athletics Director Kyle Moats and MSU general counsel and chief compliance officer Rachael Dockery held a press conference Monday afternoon to further discuss the findings that led to the resignation of the all-time winningest coach in Missouri Valley Conference history.
