When Josh Scott took over as the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions' tournament director, his goal the entire time was to eventually bring in Bronny James and Sierra Canyon.
Mission accomplished.
Scott, the Athletics Director for Springfield Public Schools, announced Wednesday that Sierra Canyon, featuring the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, will be among the loaded field of schools that the 2022 event will bring to JQH Arena.
"This is a big thing that people wanted," Scott said in an interview with the News-Leader. "I figured that if we did not land them, it would have been noticed.
