Representatives from the "The Arena League," a new indoor football league that will kick off in 2024, announced Springfield as the first of four locations for the league's inaugural year. It was announced at Corwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep FIAT on Thursday morning.
Among the representatives was Tim Brown, a Pro Football Hall of Famer and Heisman Trophy winner, who will serve as the league's commissioner.
