The Missouri State baseball team is headed to the Super Regional for the third time in school history.
The Bears defeated Arkansas 3-2 Monday in the regional final at Baum Stadium in Fayetteville.
Short stop Jeremy Eierman was the hero again for Missouri State. His 2-run home run in the sixth inning put Missouri State in front for good.
The Bears also got a strong outing from starting pitcher Doug Still who held Arkansas to 1 run in 5 innings despite pitching on Friday.
Missouri State (43-18) started the scoring in the fourth inning when Alex Jefferson hit a sacrifice fly to score Jake Burger.
